New Renaissance Bilingual School is located at 9500 Dufferin Street in the City of Vaughan, Ontario.

Positions:

Ontario Certified Teachers for Kindergarten to Grade 8 classes for our bilingual school. We will need the following teachers: English, French, Chinese, Science, Mathematics, Physical Education, Arts.

New Renaissance Bilingual School is an Ontario Private School located in the City of Vaughan, offering an exciting, new bilingual curriculum in English/Mandarin and English/French for elementary and junior students.

New Renaissance Bilingual School is the first English/Chinese and English/French bilingual school in the Greater Toronto Area in Ontario, Canada. The school will immerse students in either English/Chinese or English/French language and culture to create an ideal bilingual learning environment for our students. We will give our students an educational advantage with a bilingual education. Our teachers will inspire our students to learn. Our serene and beautiful campus will enhance the learning experience of each and every student.

Job Requirements:

The teachers will be excited to be part of a team that will create the best English/Chinese bilingual primary and junior school in the province. The teachers will be part of a team developing the focus and direction of the school from its initial stages.

Under the leadership of the Board of Directors, you will develop and teach the English/Chinese or English/French curriculum in cooperation with the school principal.

Qualifications:

Must be an Ontario Certified Teacher (OCT)
Must have primary/junior school teaching experience in Ontario and/or China
Must have strong English communications skills to be able to communicate effectively and calmly with parents of all ethnic groups
Must have enthusiasm for education and be nurturing and patient with all students
Education:

Must have a University Degree
Must have graduated from a Teacher’s College (OCT preferable)
Must have study experience in Canada
Experience:

Must have primary/junior school teaching experience in Ontario and/or China
Private School and/or Public School experience an asset
Skills and Abilities:

Excellent problem-solving skills
Strong communication skills with a customer service focus
Strong organizational and prioritization skills
Personal Characteristics:

Ability to work independently as well as in a group.
Self-driven with ability to recommend effective improvements while demonstrating a solid understanding and sensitivity to current methods of operation and pedagogy.
Ability to identify problems, develop and evaluate options, and implement solutions.
Ability to remain calm in challenging situations.
Have a positive and sunny disposition so that students will feel welcome each and every day when they come to school.
