Location: 126 Trowers Road, Woodbridge, Ontario, L4L 5Z4
Wage: $18.00/hr
We are looking to hire an energetic, enthusiastic and hardworking Production Worker to join our team. This is a head-office based position for a Monday through Friday daytime production shift. This position is responsible for the day to day running of a production line in accordance with company SOP’s, GMP’s and Health & Safety Standards.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
•Handle product, materials and supplies while maintaining the flow of production.
•Follow all procedures (SOP, GMP, Health & Safety).
•Ensure accuracy including: lot #s, dates, labels, and packaging
•Responsible for effective operation of all relevant equipment, reporting any equipment defects/malfunctions immediately to the appropriate manager.
•Ensure accurate product packaging to highest quality and as per customer specifications.
•Visually inspect production run.
•Maintain cleanliness and perform sanitation procedures of equipment and assigned area.
•Assist in the final inspection and packaging process.
•Rotate through various positions on the line.
•Suggest ideas to continuously improve productivity and efficiencies.
•Other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
•High School Diploma
•Must be able to understand and communicate in the English language (both written and verbal)
•Must be able to understand, adhere to, and practice company SOP’s, GMP’s, Health & Safety and policies.
•Must be able to work in cooperation with others, attentive to detail and ensure accuracy of work assignments.
•Ability to work with minimal supervision and guidance.
•Must be able to lift, carry, and move items up to 30 lbs.
