General Office Duties:
- Answering phones & directing calls.
- Service calls & emails to customers (order ready for pickup, etc.)
- Monitor company general email and re-direct or respond as appropriate.
- Monitor company website inquiries and re-direct or respond as appropriate.
- Order taking – phone / email / online.
- Light duty product preparation: labelling, folding, bagging small items.
- Data collection – procurement from vendors of price data, pictures, product information
Versaccounts (ERP software used by CMS)
Full training will be required on the use of this program. It will be provided through a series of online webinars, Zoom seminars and in-person learning opportunities.
Using Versaccounts, you will:
- Enter customer sales orders.
- Provide sales order confirmations.
- Prepare customer quotations.
- Order processing: phone / email / online
- Expedite purchase orders
- Update customer database
- Update vendor database
- Update price policies.
Microsoft Office 365: a working knowledge of Excel, Outlook, Word and Publisher is beneficial. Task specific training will be available.
